Marketing pictures for MCS in Manchester

A couple of weeks ago, I headed to Manchester to take pictures for MCS. The brief was to create images for their new website. MCS specialises in low-carbon technologies, so this was always going to be an interesting shoot.

As expected, there was rain in Manchester, which is never ideal weather for photographing solar panels, but needless to say, we did it.

It was lovely to work with MCS. They prepared the best brief I had ever received from a commercial job, and there were fabulous people accompanying me.

We headed over to some new homes being built to get the environment that we needed, and MCS had done a great job of supplying their friends and colleagues to model. Everyone had a good laugh. I always try to have fun on shoots, which gets the best out of people. We used various locations and created some fab pictures.

In the afternoon, we headed over to Chester and met up with a lovely couple who had just purchased a beautiful new home. We created pictures representing people moving into a new home, and once again, we had a lot of laughs. MCS has realised that they want to use real people, not just stock photography, which is refreshing.
