Hudd Show Live at Sam Expo in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Last Friday, I headed to the fabulous Sam Expo to meet up with my good friends at Hudd Show Live. The chaps behind Hudd Show Live are Grant, Allan, and Producer Dan (aka Adam).

The lads asked me to come and create some behind-the-scenes pictures of them working, which is the stuff I love to do. Hudds Show Live was doing a live broadcast at the Sam Expo at Cedar Court, Huddersfield.

When I am hired to photograph something like this, I take a documentary approach and capture the story. I aim to capture the little details, the people (not posed), and really tell the story of what's happening. It was great to see the chaps do their thing. A live broadcast and interviews with the exhibitors create a lovely buzz, and it enables people who can't make it to the event to feel like they are in the room. 

Allan and Grant are fabulous at interviewing people and making them comfortable in front of the camera, which isn't always easy. There was a great buzz all day at the expo, and it was lovely to bump into lots of people I haven't seen for ages.
