Northern Affinity partners meeting at Wizu Workspace, Leeds
Yesterday, I attended the Northern Affinity partners meeting at Wizu Workspace in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I was asked to take a few pictures to capture the event. I have a soft spot for Northern Affinity, so I'm always happy to help out.
The atmosphere in the room was electric, with a multitude of conversations taking place. What sets this network apart is the close-knit nature of our partnerships, with many of us actively collaborating with each other.
I always appreciate a meeting with a well-defined structure, as it provides a refreshing change from the usual 'walk in and try to connect' scenario. This thoughtful approach to our gatherings is a testament to the dedication of our organisers.
Gemma, the head honcho, had prepared a few questions for us to discuss in small groups. This is always good as it's a great way to chat with everyone naturally and unforcedly. As well as joining in with the chats, I took a few pictures.
My aim when covering an event is to illustrate friendly, happy people and show that the meeting is the place to be; I want the pictures to give off a little fear of missing out (F.O.M.O)
After the meeting, we were treated to a lovely buffet lunch, which is always a massive bonus. I may have eaten too many sandwiches, but somehow, I managed to chat next to the table with the food, and the sarnies just kept jumping onto my plate.
Here are a few of the pictures I captured. I'm in a black-and-white mood today.
If you would like some photographs that get attention give me a shout.
