Portraits for Sarah at Carl Stuart, Ossett, West Yorkshire

A couple of weeks ago, I headed over to Carl Stuart to take pictures of one of the sewing machinists, Sarah. It's great when a company wants to invest time in its employees. My brief was to capture some fun portraits and Sarah's personality.

One of my favourite things to do in photography is to capture people in natural light using the environment of a town or city. It's incredible that you don't have to venture far to find a backdrop to make any photo stand out and get attention.

Sarah was absolutely brilliant. She got straight into the swing of things and embraced my ideas. We headed a few hundred metres into Ossett town Centre and found many environments that made for perfect backdrops. We had a couple of outfit changes, which helped give us some variety.

After we had been outside, we had ten minutes to create pictures in the factory. I loved this shoot; it really made me remember my favourite type of photography.
