Brand photography for Bijou Bridal Boutique, Honley

Last week, I headed to Honley, West Yorkshire, to photograph the new Bijou Bridal Boutique. I met Kerensa in her fabulous shop. The boutique looks fantastic, with loads of room and a fab choice of dresses. It may surprise you that I've never bought or worn a wedding dress, but I'm pretty sure Bijou Bridal Boutique is the perfect place to go.

When I arrived, Kerensa had her friend there, so I suggested that the best way to do the shoot would be to treat her friend to an experience where we would pretend that she was an actual bride. I knew that by doing this, we would capture natural and fun pictures, nothing weird or posed, and it would help illustrate to brides the customer experience.

We did everything from having her friend arrive to being greeted, showing her many wedding dresses, including the details, to trying the dresses on and falling in love with the perfect dress.

During that time, I also tried to capture some of the boutique's finer details. I really enjoyed the shoot. It was a quick half-hour, but I think we created some fabulous pictures, which will be perfect for Kerensa's marketing.
