Marketing photography for The Village Gym, Leeds South, West Yorkshire

Last week, I headed over to The Village Gym in South Leeds. Over the last couple of months, I have done a lot of photography for The Village Gyms, which has been fabulous.

Leeds South is the closest gym to where I live, so having a local shoot was lovely. My brief is to capture gym staff and personal trainers using the machines for The Village Gym's marketing and social media.

Every shoot is different, and I never know what to expect. It all depends on how receptive the people I work with are. I met up with Simon and Lucy, and they were brilliant. They are both extremely fit and no strangers to gyms, so it was a pleasure to work with them.

When doing these shoots, the most challenging thing is trying to capture busy gyms with no customers in the photos, which can be pretty challenging. I've always loved action and fitness photography, so working in the gym is a brilliant job.
