Holly and Oli's bonkers wedding at Denby Dale, West Yorkshire

Bagden Hall, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire was the venue for Holly and Oli's wedding. After previously meeting with Holly and Oli I knew they were down-to-earth and they were just going to have a really FUN wedding day. It was actually my first time photographing a wedding at Bagden Hall so I was very excited. (Scroll to the bottom to read more)

On arrival

As soon as I arrived to see Holly and the girls I knew it was gonna be a pretty mad one. It's not often I see team bride drinking pints at 10 am. I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and we just started having a laugh. Holly wasn't interested in loads of pictures of details, shoes and hanging dresses as it was all about the people. All of the girls were very chilled and we had a right laugh which is always great as it sets the tone for the day.

Mans best friends

Oli the groom was in great spirits even though he did show a few signs of nerves. One of the reasons why they had chosen Bagden Hall for their venue was because it is dog-friendly and Boris and Betty the bride and grooms Bull Dogs were the VIP guests.  The whole day was just everyone having a laugh, we had fabulous weather and there were a lot of very happy people.

Speeches

The speeches were really funny. Team groom had gone all out and created an Eggheads style quiz for Oli which basically was a massive stitch-up. Everyone was in stitches.

Party time

When I chatted previously to Holly and Oli they told me that they were having the band Complete Madness for their evening do which I was incredibly excited about.  The band were brilliant, really, really professional and got everyone doing Madness-style knees up, running around the dancefloor. After the band had finished the party continued as the resident DJ took over the tunes.

Congratulations

It was a fab day and we got loads of ace pictures that captured the day, everyone loved it and I somehow managed to get caught by a speed camera (doh)!

Thanks for allowing me to capture your day. Massive congratulations to you both.
