Wired Coffee and Cake, Honley, Huddersfield
My very good friends Oliver and Katie decided have opened the fabulous Wired, coffee and cake establishment in the fabulous little village of Honley, West Yorkshire. I've know Oliver and Katie for quite some time as Oliver makes exceedingly good wedding cakes and we occasionally get together and talk nonsense. I'm so excited that they have opened Wired (It's now my second home). Wired is such a special place they serve amazing cakes, fabulous Dark Woods Coffee but the best thing is the warm and friendly welcome that you receive from Oliver and Katie. I've never known a place like it, there must be something in the coffee as it's such a friendly little place, everyone just chats to each other and it's just full of really lovely folk.
The day before they actually opened they asked me to pop down with my camera to take a few pictures. They actually trust me so once again my brief was just do what I think will work, so that's exactly what I did. I love natural pictures like these and I personally feel that they reflect their friendly, warm brand. I'm certainly not a product photographer but for my friends, I make an exception so every now and then I pop down and take a few pictures of cakes, coffee, teas and pretty much everything else they sell.
Last week Wired actually started to sell toast with lovely locally sourced jams and peanut butter on Rogers bread from Marsden. They're pretty thick and filling so don't be a greedy guts like I was and order two slices.
But if you fancy a fabulous place to get a brew, have a chat and just meet some genuine, good Yorkshire folk then head over to Wired.
If you fancy some pictures that show your establishment give me a shout.
