Glow Beauty Salons, Wrexham, Chester and Mold

Glow Beauty asked me to head over to their award-winning salons as they required lots of images for their new website. I knew this was going to be a really busy day as I had three locations to get to which were in Wrexham, Chester and Mold.  I needed to photograph the overall look of the salons (mainly internal), photograph lots of little details, capture some pictures of staff performing treatments at each location and a day to do it in, it was going to be a challenge.

The morning didn't start off great although I set off really early I still managed to get stuck in crazy traffic somewhere on the motorway so I knew I was going to be playing catch up so probably no time for a brew and to have chats.  I met up with Julijana who has been the interior designer for Glow and also the graphic designer so she was the perfect person to instruct on what images they required. Mold was the first location and I was amazed to see how fantastic the salon looked, it was easy to see why Glow-Beauty has won so many awards.  Everywhere I looked there was incredibly well thought out details. Then it was a little drive over to Chester. Once again the salon was immaculate, it was very similar to the Mold one but little subtle differences were there to be seen. I cracked on photographing everything I had to do and then it was time for the next one.  The final salon that I had to go to was in Wrexham.

When I arrived at Wrexham again it was perfect and the owner of Glow-Beauty greeted us. Sara is lovely and made me feel at home.  As this was the final stop I could finally have a brew and chill out a bit more. We also took the time to photograph more treatments and staff pictures.  Sara also needed a few new headshots/business portraits so I took her for a quick ten minutes wander around Wrexham. I absolutely love the challenge of trying to find somewhere to photograph someone in a short period of time when I have no idea where I'm going. It's then I have to rely on my creativity.  I spent quite a good amount of time photographing the salon, those little details and wider shots. I even managed to photograph a few customers and one of them was absolutely bonkers but great fun.

Finally, just when you think it's time to go home, lots of Glow-Beauty members off staff started arriving from the other branches for a group shot! Arrrggghhhh, right creative brain what are you going to do. Do I line them all up behind the counter? Nope, it's cold and dark outside so let's carry some chairs outside and have a bit of fun.  It was a fab day, I did lots of driving, lots of photos and finally managed to get myself a bag of chips.  Check out the Glow-Beauty website the shots look great on there.
