Kirklees Business Conference 2018
Last week I headed over to the annual Kirklees Business Conference held at John Smiths Stadium in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire organised by The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. I see this opportunity as a great way to network and see lots of people that I’ve not seen for a while. It’s also good to meet some new folk.
My brief as always at these events was “John you know what you’re doing” which is great when people have confidence in you. However, my personal brief at something like this is to capture the event via the people.
The event was well attended, and it was great to see lots of people that I know. I had some lovely chats and it’s nice to see some people are genuinely interested in what I do. As always with these events I’m trying to cover everything including the exhibition, talks and workshops so I’m always here there and everywhere. One year I might even put a Fitbit on to see how many steps I cover as I do cover some ground.
All the exhibitors that I chatted to seemed very happy with the event and they certainly had lots of leads to follow up on which I guess is the main goal for being there. Here’s some of my pictures, as always, I do take a documentary approach and capture people and not pose them.
If you have a similar event and you want pictures that will sell the stands for the next year give me a shout.
