Jerry Brewin Business Portrait
Jerry got in touch with me to photograph some business portraits for a new website and also his social media profiles. As always there’s always a little twist. On his brief, he mentioned that he works in various sectors such as industrial, manufacturing, financial, services, retail, health, energy etc. It would have been quite a job to incorporate all of these sectors in a two-hour shoot but we decided that we could shoot in some industrial locations and then get some good pictures that were eye catching.
He’s Leeds based so we decided that Leeds would be a fab location. I met up with Jerry at his house and I immediately got on with him. He made me a brew (the law) before heading off. Our first location was Hunslet Mill which has seen better days, however it’s a fabulous building. A quick recce and we found a way to use the mill.
We then decided to head off in the direction of The Royal Armouries and Clarence Dock. Wow, I was spoilt for choice down there. We had so much variety of colour, texture and interesting backdrops to choose from. Jerry had his set pose (hands in pockets) but he was comfortable with that. I really enjoyed the shoot, we had a good laugh and got some great pictures.
