Forget Me Not, netball
A long time ago I used to do quite a lot of pictures for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and I’ve always said that I like photographing the fun stuff. People posing with cheques and awards evenings aren’t really my thing. Emma chief fund raiser got in touch with me and asked if I’d be interested in photographing a netball tournament.
I popped down to Huddersfield Sports Centre and the tournament was in full flow. All the teams were made up of legal eagles some of the solicitor firms involved were: Makin Dixon, JWP, Ramsdens and Schofield Sweeney. There were probably more so sorry if I’ve missed anyone.
Photographing netball was very interesting. I have no idea about the rules if there are any, I did feel that some of the rules were made up. It was very challenging and fun to try and create images which told a story when I didn’t understand what was happening, but I love a challenge.
It was a fabulous evening, everyone got involved and raised some good money for the charity.
Here’s a selection of my favourite images from the event.
